Armando Hernandez

Armando J. Hernandez holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Financial Affairs from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México – ITAM), an Executive MBA from the Panamerican Institute for High Business Direction (Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas – IPADE), and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family from the University of Navarra .
He and his wife founded Family Lifeworks in 2006 with the aim of building a better society through the formation of virtue in the family. Armando is president and CEO of a financial consulting firm serving high level, prestigious investors. A native of Monterrey, Mexico, he now resides in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife Nancy and their two children. He is a member of the San Antonio chapter of Catholic Association of Latino Leaders (CALL).
Nancy Hernandez

Nancy Hernandez worked as a professional engineer prior to becoming interested in the area of human formation. This led her to a series of undergraduate humanities courses such as family life management, world religions, and philosophy at the Panamerican University (CPH) in Monterrey.
She later received her Master’s degree in Family Education and Matrimony and Family. In 2006 she and her husband Armando founded Family Lifeworks, a non-profit organization that offers education and formation programs to help families discover the key elements in building a strong family life—essential to surviving in today’s counter-family culture. Nancy was born in Monterrey Mexico and now lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband Armando and their two children. She is a member of the San Antonio chapter of Catholic Association of Latino Leaders (CALL).
CARLOS A. ZUBILLAGA
Board Member, Family Lifeworks, Inc.
Carlos A. Zubillaga is currently managing partner of The ActionCoach Firm in San Antonio, as well as the principal of Ingenia Partners, LLC, a business brokerage firm. ActionCoach is the world’s largest and most successful business coaching organization.
In addition to numerous professional certifications and affiliations, Carlos earned a Juris Doctor (law) degree from Andres Bello Catholic University (Universidad Católica Andrés Bello – UCAB) in Caracas, Venezuela and a Masters of Business Administration from the Institute of Higher Administration Studies (Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración – IESA) in Venezuela. He has also pursued doctoral studies at Harvard Business School. He is a published author whose works include Wealthy, Free and Happy: How to Build a Great Business to Live a Great Life and 11 Things You Absolutely Need To Know About Selling Your Business, which he co-authored. His business acumen encompasses a wide spectrum of competencies in management development, mergers and acquisitions, leadership and coaching. A native of Venezuela, Carlos lives in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife and a few of their 10 children.
KEVIN CARRASCO

Kevin Carrasco earned Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of New Mexico. Kevin’s business development experience is extensive and includes stints as owner/manager of sales and operations, Carrasco Farms & Carrasco Transport – Loving, New Mexico; vice president – Specialty Investments Division Manager, Investment Professionals Inc. – San Antonio, Texas; and, chief financial officer, Barnacle Bill’s Seafood – San Antonio, Texas among others.
He has been active in church ministry and has served on numerous boards and pastoral councils. Currently he is the co-owner and managing partner of Huntington Learning Center in San Antonio where he resides with his wife and their 8 children.
IGNACIO J. SUNDERLAND
Board Member, BOARD SECRETARY, Family Lifeworks, Inc.
Ignacio J. Sunderland’s educational achievements include an industrial engineering degree from Ibero-American University (Universidad Iberoamericana – UIA) in Mexico City; participation in the management update program at the University of California at Berkeley extension in Mexico City; and, a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University.
His business expertise has been cultivated over the course of a career during which he held positions ranging from vice president of operations for Drogueros, S.A. de C.V. (the third largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in Mexico) to equity portfolio manager and senior security analyst at IW Securities. He is the current president and founder of Sunport Capital, LLC., registered investment advisors. Ignacio lives in San Antonio with his wife and their 4 sons.
Cynthia Saldaña Cuellar
Board Adviser, Family Lifeworks, Inc.
Cynthia Saldaña Cuellar holds a teaching certification and received her Master’s degree in Education from the Our Lady of the Lake University. Her solid commitment to the formation of virtue in the family has played a key role in the development and delivery of the Family Lifeworks programs. Cynthia was born in San Antonio, Texas, where she still resides with her husband Eddie and their five children.
